Sujak on Sunnyhill Black Hills Bed & Breakfast
Located in the heart of the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, overlooking the historical mining town of Lead, 5 minutes from Deadwood, The Black Hills Bed and Breakfast Sujak on Sunnyhill combines historical elegance with country comfort. Beautiful hand hewn beams adorn the common areas with quarter sawn oak and Spanish tile flooring. Chief Surgeon for the Homestake hospital, Doctor Robert B Fleeger (1886 – 1966) directed the building of his home in 1935, utilizing the largest of Ponderosa pines from the Black Hills forests for panelling and beams. Throughout the bed and breakfast you will feel the quiet peace of 12 inch post and beam construction and imagine you have stepped back in time when you see how quality materials were artistically used by master craftsmen and are complemented with antique and oak furnishings.
Sujak on Sunnyhill Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located only a short drive from all Black Hills attractions so you can plan your touring of the hills to fit nicely between your delicious breakfast and your return for home baked afternoon snacks. Your hosts are on hand for any advice needed with a thorough knowledge of the Black hills area and suggestions on the local eateries.
